Edmonton's new world-class Veterinary Center is a reflection of the value of the community places on pets, said a surgeon.
"It's not ' dogs on the farm ' anymore," said Dr. Dave Fowler. "Pets are actually part of a family man now.
"Culture has evolved and Medicine has evolved to respond to it."
The result of evolution that can be found in malls, at 56 Avenue and 100 Street, Central, site Guardian Veterinary 20,000 squarefoot facility-opened for business in August.
